Limited-Edition EMPRESS Colorway
The 2027 KRYO2 EMPRESS stands apart with a limited-edition design that combines purple, pink, gold, blue, black, and white details. The colorful Louisville Slugger barrel graphics and detailed KRYO2 branding give the bat a distinctive appearance without changing the clean, competitive profile players expect from the KRYO family.
Because the EMPRESS is a limited-edition colorway, availability may vary by length and drop weight. Players who have a specific size in mind should shop early.
Which KRYO2 EMPRESS Drop Weight Should You Choose?
Choosing the correct drop weight can help a hitter maintain barrel control, generate bat speed, and make consistent contact. The best choice depends on the player’s age, strength, mechanics, and current bat.
KRYO2 EMPRESS -11
The 2027 KRYO2 EMPRESS -11 WL27003011 is the lightest option in the collection. It is designed for youth and developing players who prioritize quick bat speed and easy barrel control.
A -11 fastpitch bat can be a good fit for hitters building confidence, improving timing, or moving into a longer bat without adding too much weight.

KRYO2 EMPRESS -10
The 2027 KRYO2 EMPRESS -10 WL2700401 offers a versatile balance of bat speed, barrel control, and weight through the hitting zone. The -10 drop is a popular choice for competitive youth and travel softball players.
It is well suited for all-around hitters who want more mass behind the ball than a -11 while maintaining a manageable swing.

KRYO2 EMPRESS -9
The 2027 KRYO2 EMPRESS -9 WL2700501 is built for stronger, more experienced players who want additional weight through contact. It provides one more ounce of weight than a -10 bat of the same length.
The -9 is a natural transition for hitters who have developed the strength and mechanics to handle a heavier bat without sacrificing control.

KRYO2 EMPRESS -8
The 2027 KRYO2 EMPRESS -8 WL2700601 is the heaviest option in the EMPRESS collection. It is intended for advanced high school and college hitters with the strength to control additional barrel mass.
Players considering the -8 should already be comfortable swinging a heavier fastpitch bat while maintaining proper timing and mechanics.

KRYO2 EMPRESS Drop-Weight Comparison
| Model | Drop Weight | Recommended Hitter |
|---|---|---|
| KRYO2 EMPRESS WL27003011 | -11 | Youth and developing players prioritizing bat speed |
| KRYO2 EMPRESS WL2700401 | -10 | Competitive youth and all-around travel players |
| KRYO2 EMPRESS WL2700501 | -9 | Strong, experienced players moving to a heavier bat |
| KRYO2 EMPRESS WL2700601 | -8 | Advanced high school and college power hitters |
The right bat should allow the player to stay balanced, control the barrel, and complete a full swing without dropping the hands or slowing down. When deciding between two drops, consider the player’s current bat and whether she can maintain the same mechanics with the added weight.
