2026 Easton The Dub (Double Barrel) -8 USSSA Baseball Bat 32/24 EUT6DUB8

The 2026 Easton The Dub (Double Barrel) -8 USSSA Baseball Bat 32/24 EUT6DUB8 is an Easton USSSA baseball bat for experienced youth travel ball hitters who want a 32-inch length with a 24-ounce listed weight. Its Double Barrel design promotes barrel flex, while the -8 drop provides a lighter option than a 32-inch -5 bat. This size suits players who can comfortably control a longer bat and compete in leagues that permit USSSA 1.15 BPF certification. SPC Sports has served baseball and softball players since 1999 in Mentor, Ohio.

Why Choose a 32-Inch, 24-Ounce Baseball Bat?

Keep the length while managing the weight. The 32/24 gives players who are comfortable with a 32-inch bat a lighter alternative to a 32/27 -5. That 3-ounce difference is useful to consider when evaluating timing and control.

Move up from -10 without jumping directly to -5. At 32 inches, a -10 bat weighs 22 ounces, a -8 weighs 24 ounces and a -5 weighs 27 ounces. The 32/24 offers an intermediate weight for players ready to evaluate a heavier bat.

Choose length around the player’s swing. A 32-inch bat offers more reach than a shorter model, but it also requires the player to manage that additional length. Choose it because the hitter can consistently control the barrel, rather than simply to cover more of the plate.

What Age Group Is the 32/24 Best For?

This size is worth considering for experienced youth hitters, including developing preteen and young teen travel ball players, whose build and swing suit a 32-inch bat. It is not an automatic recommendation for every player in that age group.

Strength, current bat size and coach feedback should guide the decision. A player should maintain timing and balance through repeated swings without dragging the barrel or changing mechanics to manage the bat. A shorter length or lighter drop may be more suitable if control becomes inconsistent.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who should use the Easton Dub -8 32/24?

Experienced youth travel ball hitters who are comfortable with a 32-inch length and can consistently control 24 ounces. Fit depends on the individual player, not age alone.

How does a 32/24 compare with a 32/22 or 32/27?

All three are 32 inches long. The 32/24 -8 is 2 ounces heavier than a 32/22 -10 and 3 ounces lighter than a 32/27 -5.

Is the Easton Dub -8 balanced or end loaded?

Easton describes the Dub’s swing profile as Power Load. Players should evaluate it as a loaded-feel option when comparing it with bats marketed as balanced.

Is this bat approved for my league?

It carries USSSA 1.15 BPF certification. Confirm your league and tournament requirements for the exact model, length, drop and barrel size before buying.

Will a longer bat help my player hit better?

Not automatically. Additional reach is useful only when the player can maintain timing and barrel control. A properly fitted shorter bat may be a better choice for some hitters.
