The Easton ELITE X Intermediate Catcher's Chest Protector (ELXCPI) is a 16-inch NOCSAE Commotio Cordis certified intermediate baseball chest protector built for developing catchers ages 13 to 15 who want the same elite Elite X rebound control and form-fitting protection as the adult version in a size designed for growing players behind the plate. The stacked memory foam in the ab area absorbs ball rebound on blocked pitches and keeps them close so runners cannot advance on balls in the dirt, giving your player a tangible competitive edge every time they block. The four-point webbing strap system with a comfortable neoprene back organizer wraps the protector securely around your player's entire torso, creating a snug, unified fit that moves with their body through every squat, block, and throw without riding up, slipping down, or shifting out of position.
The heavy-duty black-coated steel inset waist clip locks the waist fit in place without loosening or tightening during play, so the protector stays exactly where you set it from the first pitch to the final out without any mid-inning readjustment.
