The Champro HXE Starter Small Baseball Helmet (HXES) is a NOCSAE-certified baseball batting helmet built for T-Ball and the youngest youth players who need a properly sized, lightweight, and comfortable helmet that delivers the full HXE platform feature set -- lightweight ABS shell, dual-layered foam, moisture-wicking jaw pads, and sunglasses-accommodating padding -- in a solid-color glossy finish at an accessible price point. Fitting hat sizes 6 to 6 1/2, the HXES gives programs that prefer a classic gloss look the same HXE construction quality in five team-ready colorways. Compatible only with HXE accessories (HXEG, HXEG2, HXEMS, HXEFM). Available at SPC Sports in black, navy, royal, scarlet, and white.
The lightweight ABS shell is engineered to balance structural protection strength with the lightest possible weight for the small size, so the helmet never feels heavy or top-heavy on the youngest players' heads while still delivering the impact resistance the NOCSAE standard requires at every level of organized T-Ball and youth play.
The dual-layered impact and comfort foam system uses two distinct foam layers -- an outer impact layer that absorbs and distributes ball contact forces and an inner comfort layer that cushions the head for all-day wearability -- so the helmet delivers both the protection coaches and parents require and the comfort feel that keeps young players focused on the game rather than distracted by the feel of the helmet through every practice and game.
Jaw pads wrapped with moisture-wicking fabric draw sweat away from the player's jaw and cheek through every inning, keeping the pad contact points dry and comfortable through extended play without the damp, sticky feel that standard foam jaw pads develop after a few innings of active use in warm weather conditions.
The padding is specifically designed to accommodate sunglasses, so players who wear corrective or tinted lenses in the field and at the plate can put their glasses on and take them off without fighting the helmet padding or dealing with lens displacement during play.
The solid-color glossy finish gives the HXES a clean, traditional appearance that many programs and coaches prefer, with five classic team colorways that cover the most commonly requested color palettes for T-Ball and youth baseball programs at every level of organized play.

Compatible only with HXE accessories -- HXEG face guard, HXEG2 two-tone face guard, HXEMS softball mask, and HXEFM facemask -- so any additional protective accessories added to this helmet must be from the HXE accessory line to ensure proper fit, function, and NOCSAE compliance.
