The Wilson A1000 12.5" 1620 Fastpitch Softball First Base Mitt WBW102598125 is designed specifically for fastpitch players looking for a glove that combines reach, comfort, and durability. With a 12.5-inch length and a single post, double bar web, this mitt provides an ideal deep pocket for securing catches at first base. The 1620 pattern includes a dual-break design, allowing players to customize the glove’s break-in to their preference, whether they desire a wide-open feel or a more traditional, tight fit.
- 1620 Pattern: Designed exclusively for first base with a 12.5-inch length, the pattern offers excellent reach, while the single post, double bar web provides stability and control for securing throws and scooping balls.
- Full Grain Leather: Made from premium full-grain leather, the A1000 provides a soft feel and quick break-in, ensuring players are game-ready sooner.
- Double Palm Construction: A strategically placed thin layer of leather between the palm liner and outer shell maximizes pocket stability, reducing wrinkling and ensuring a reliable catching surface.
- Snug Fit for Female Hand: Crafted with a snugger fit to accommodate the female hand, providing comfort and control on the field.
- Index Finger Pad: Adds an extra layer of protection on the shell backing, providing comfort for handling hard-hit balls.
- Quick Drawstring Wrist Closure: Allows for fast and easy adjustments to achieve the perfect fit, keeping the glove secure and comfortable.
- Dri-Lex Wrist Lining: Ultra-breathable and moisture-wicking, the Dri-Lex lining keeps hands cool and dry during intense games.
- Rolled Dual Welting: Reinforces the glove’s shape and structure, ensuring that it maintains its form and performs consistently over time.
With a sleek white colorway, this mitt is as stylish as it is functional, making players look and feel confident on the field. Part of the A1000 line, which brings pro-inspired patterns similar to the A2000 and A2K series, this glove offers the performance and quality younger players need, combined with an easy break-in process.
